I think what I love most about the net is the opportunity to view some of our country's rich heritage. This video "Jammin the Blues" circa 1944 features several of our all time jazz greats as well as renown lindy dancers of the era. There wasn't MTV back then but this film was nominated for an Academy Award in the "best short film" 1 reel catagory. And It was selected for preservation by our Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
